2010 AMP Energy 500 Weekend

The renewal deadline has passed for the AMP Energy 500 Weekend.

For everyone that has renewed - THANK YOU!!!!!

We are looking forward to you returning to Talladega Superspeedway for HALLOW-DEGA Presented by Captain Morgan.

Once you’ve renewed, you are eligible to upgrade, move to different seats, or change your order. To do so, call 877.Go2.DEGA on the following dates between 9am and 8 pm Central Time.

Frontstretch Tower Ticketholders - June 19-20 

All Other Ticketholders - June 21-27

In 2010, we bring back this new halloween tradition with a three-day celebration, leading up to the Halloween Day running of the AMP Energy 500. 2009 customers will be recieving their renewal information any day now. Be sure to read through all the information that is being mailed to you.   Unsold 2009 tickets are now on-sale for those who missed out last year. TICKETS ARE ON SALE AND CAN BE PURCHASED HERE!

HALLOW-FACT of The Day- 2 Days to HALLOW-DEGASM In northern Ireland, it was customary for Druids to perform ritualistic ceremonies and make sacrifices to pacify their gods. The Celts would bring wood and start their Samhain bonfire or, fire festival, on the hilltop. Often, they would throw the bones of slaughtered cattle into the flames. The word “bonfire” is said to be derived from such “bone fires.”  Bonfires and sacrifices guaranteed that the sun would burn brightly after a long, dreary winter. It’s common to witness hundreds of traditional bonfires in Ireland every year on Halloween Night. How many of you have bon fires on Halloween?

Just before midnight on Halloween all others must leave the room and you must darken the room except for your candle. Facing the mirror and holding the candle in front of you with both hands, you must close your eyes and count to twelve. When you get to twelve you can open your eyes. In the mirror, just over your shoulder, you may see the reflection of the face of your Soul Mate. The image may disappear quickly, but, whatever you do, don’t turn around until its gone. What are some of your favorite Halloween legends?

In Scotland in the 1800’s, kids would go out “guising” in costume for treats. What is your favorite treat given out on Halloween night?
