Most everyone has seen the movie Halloween …but here are some facts you may not know:
*Halloween was made in only 21 days in 1978 on a very limited budget.
*The movie was shot in the Spring and used fake autumn leaves.
*The mask used by Micheal Meyers in the movie was actually William Shatner’s mask painted white.
*The character Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis was named after John Carpenter’s first girlfriend.

Pumpkins can be found in a variety of colors. Most people have only seen orange pumpkins but they also come in white, blue, green, and red. White pumpkins come in a number of varieties such as Lumina, Cotton Candy or miniature Baby Boo. Blue pumpkins are often referred to as Australian Blue Pumpkins. Green Pumpkins come from a Jack O’Lantern pumpkin being unripe, they can be a pale or a dark green. Red pumpkins are referred to as “Rouge D’Etant”, but are better known as Cinderella pumpkins.

The Blair Witch Project was directed in 1999 by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez. The film was marketed as a documentary. The three lead actors shot most of the film. Nearly all of the dialogue was improvised. The film made the Guinness Book of World Records for budget/box office ratio by only spending $35,000 and generating $140,530,000.
