The film Eraserhead was directed in 1977 by David Lynch. This film took a total of five years to complete. The original script was only 20 pages long, which made financing the film difficult. Director Lynch will still not reveal how the baby was created. The film had a budget of $10,000 and generated 7,000,000. Not too bad…

The Blair Witch Project was directed in 1999 by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez. The film was marketed as a documentary. The three lead actors shot most of the film. Nearly all of the dialogue was improvised. The film made the Guinness Book of World Records for budget/box office ratio by only spending $35,000 and generating $140,530,000.
